A leading logistics company was seeking a cold storage solution for caterers to use at the ISH Frankfurt trade fair. The annual event is the world’s largest exhibition space for the HVAC industry, showcasing an array of practical solutions for key global issues such as climate protection targets, renewable energies, digitalisation and smart technologies. The requirement was for two cold storage units able to store food and beverage at +7°C.
Solution
Trane supplied two 20’ cold storage ISO containers for a three-week rental period. Trane Rental’s cold store units are easy to use. The simple design comes hand-in-hand with the most advanced controller in the industry. The installed cold stores offer precise temperature control to keep the catered food at the right temperature and ensure fresh food to exhbition visitors during the event.
The two rental units were placed in a prominent location just outside the main entrance to the exhibition halls for quick and easy access for caterers and suppliers.
Trane also had a presence inside the exhibition centre as the Trane Technologies subsidiary AL-KO Air Technology, which designs and manufactures sustainable air handling units and extraction systems, was exhibiting at the fair.
Results
Trane Rental Germany’s close proximity to the exhibition centre – just 30km away – meant that the units could be supplied very promptly. The customer was delighted with the Trane Rental solution and the collaboration for the ISH Frankfurt trade fair is likely to prove the start of an ongoing business relationship.
