Trane offers programmable BACnet controllers that can be customized to specific needs. Our general controllers are compatible with a wide variety of application scenarios and support graphical programming and the BACnet protocol.
The programmable BACnet Tracer controllers are designed to work with Tracer SC and third-party BACnet MS/TP systems. They can be used with expansion modules when more I/O capability is needed.
Tracer Symbio® Equipment Controllers
Tracer controllers are multi-purpose, programmable devices. These field- or factory-installed devices are designed to control a large range of equipment such as fan coils, air-handling units (AHUs), cooling towers, pumps, central heating and cooling plants, etc.
Symbio® represents Trane’s natural evolution with digital equipment controllers that are designed for Trane’s high-performance HVAC equipment. The Symbio controller is factory programmed and wired for flexible and secure connectivity, life of the building flexibility, and productive serviceability.
Expansion modules
Trane Tracer expansion modules provide additional points as and when needed for Tracer applications:
• Tracer™ XM 30 module has four points that can be configured using any combination of analog or binary inputs and analog outputs.
• Tracer™ XM 32 module has four relay outputs.
• Tracer™ XM 70 module has 19 terminations: Eight universal inputs, four relay outputs, one pressure input, and six universal input/analog output terminations.
• Tracer™ XM 90 module has 32 terminations: sixteen universal inputs, eight binary outputs and eight universal input/analog output terminations.
TD7 Display
Tracer™ TD7 Display: A 7 inch diagonal color touchscreen designed for both indoor and outdoor use. This visual solution makes it quicker and easier than ever to access the reliable control offered by the Tracer controls.
