Trane wireless Air-Fi

- Installation cost containment: Controllers such as Symbio 800 or Tracer SC+ can share data with each other over Trane Air-Fi technology. This considerably lowers wiring cost, reduces installation time and reduces project cost and complexity.
Most of modern Trane controls, including Tracer SC or Tracer Symbio can be equipped with an optional Air-Fi® transceiver. With that device in place, controls can start sharing data, using BACnet Protocol transported over ZIgBee wireless technology. Trane wireless sensors are also capable of measuring Indoor Air Quality data, such as temperature, humidity or CO² levels.
Trane Air-Fi® wireless communication also conforms to the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, so your wireless BAS communication system will seamlessly coexist with other wireless systems — including Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi® — without interference.
Trane Wireless Comm Interface (WCI)
Trane WCI is the cornerstone of the overall Air-Fi® architecture. It comes as an optional module that can be conveniently linked to Trane-compatible controls, providing devices with wireless BACnet communication capability.
WCI can also be set up to serve as a wireless communication repeater if needed.
Trane Wireless Communication Sensors (WCS)
Trane Wireless Communication sensors have been developed based on Trane Air-Fi technology. All sensors come with a user-friendly digital display and come with various sets of features:
• WCS-SB: ambient temperature and humidity measurement
• WCS-SO: as above, plus occupancy sensor
• WCS-SCO2: as above, plus CO² (in ppm) measurement

Trane wireless 4G Mobile Network
- Pre-installed IT security set-up Trane 4G routers are factory configured to fully deploy IT security features, such as port management, VPN connections, as well as limited end points support. The Trane cloud system only requires outgoing ports to be opened
- Full remote control Trane deploys a Remote Management System that provides full remote control of routers. This enables to upgrade IT security features and manage any router behavior, from anywhere at any time.
Modbus Wireless (LoRa)
- Long communication range Communications can be established within a range of 1km in open air, and 300m in most buildings
- Point-to-point or point-to-many application The gateway can be used to established point-to-point connections, as well as one to many connections.
