Challenge
A Lisbon-based data center was looking to replace an old chiller with a more efficient system to provide comfort cooling in its building. The request was to find a system offering improved performance that was the same dimensions as their existing one. This new system needed to be reliable, versatile and sustainable.
Solution
The new 450 kW CGAF chiller provides efficient comfort cooling for the facility's office spaces, completing the site that also includes Trane heat pump technology and Trane Magnetic Bearing chillers that are the best efficient chillers for data centers.
Results
In addition to their efficient process cooling installation, this polyvalent comfort cooling system allows the company to further reduce energy consumption and save on operating costs.
Our very good relationship with the customer is set to lead to further repeat business – replacing another old system that was installed in 2008 in the next few years.
