Trane also offers rooftops that combine heating, cooling, and fan sections all in one. These are suitable for most types of buildings, from schools to offices and retail, particularly where low initial cost and simplified installations are important. Air-to-water heat pumps

At a Glance:

Air-to-water heat pumps are ideally suited to milder climates with medium heating temperature requirements. Air source heat pumps provide water between 35 and 55°C; they are very efficient and ideal for installations with low heating requirements.

Water-to-water heat pumps

At a Glance:

Water-to-water heat pumps are ideally suited to buildings in colder climates with high heating temperature requirements. Water source heat pumps can deliver water above 55°C. This does mean higher energy consumption but water-to-water heat pumps still remain the best option for buildings with higher temperature needs.
