Smart, versatile, reliable
Trane RTAF air-cooled chillers are built on the Sintesis™ platform, which means they share many of the same components and technologies, all with a proven reliability record.
With fixed, variable speed or Variable Volume Index compressors with permanent magnet motor, Sintesis™ Prime RTAF units offer high performance and efficiency to all comfort and process cooling (SEPR-HT and SEPR-MT) applications.
The RTAF chillers operate with R1234ze, R513A or R134a refrigerants. They offer 7 different efficiency versions and versatile set of options, such as free cooling and heat-recovery, to further boost the system energy efficiency.
System efficiency with energy saving solutions
RTAF chillers can be equipped with an integrated free cooling system, significantly lowering your operating costs and reducing wear and tear of main system components.
RTAF chillers also offer a total or partial heat recovery option to reclaim waste heat and provide your building with hot water while cooling.
All Trane Sintesis™ chillers use Symbio™ 800 controller and are fully compatible with LonTalk®, BACnet® and Modbus, allowing for easy integration with BMS systems.
Quiet operation
With variable volume scew compressors, variable speed fans and insulation options designed to reduce sound further, RTAF chillers are an ideal choice to keep your building cool - quietly and efficiently.
Standard, low, extra low, and whisper low noise levels are available.
The RTAF Prime product range of the Sintesis platform is available in seven efficiency versions:
- SE, HE and XE with fixed speed compressors
- HSS, HSE, XSS and XSE with variable speed compressors. XSS and XSE have Variable Volume Index screw technology.
These can be coupled with three low noise packages (SN, LN, XLN).
You can also choose between AC and EC fans, and three refrigerants: R1234ze, R513a and R134a.
