High performance and strong operating maps
RTMG multi-pipe units can deliver chilled water, hot water or any combination of cooling and heating. The new RTMG models are substantially more efficient when compared to oil and gas boilers. RTMG offers market leading efficiencies in screw compressor based multi-pipe category:
• Total Efficiency Ratio (TER) of up to 7.6
• Cooling EER up to 3.25
• Heating COP up to 3.30.
The RTMG has wide operating maps in all three operating modes. It can deliver hot water up to 60°C. In heating mode ambient temperature can be down to -15°C.

Simultaneous heating and cooling by one single unit eliminates the need for separate boiler and chiller systems to fulfil a building's variable heating and cooling needs. This provides better use of floor space, reduced investment costs and lower total operating expenses in multifunctional facilities such as offices, hospitals, theatres and hotels - while significantly improving operational sustainability.
The fully electric-driven RTMG uses renewable and recovered energy to produce hot water with no direct greenhouse gas emissions. This contributes to decarbonization of buildings and create better air quality in and around the building.
Trane Heating. Naturally
RTMG multi-pipe units are available in 5 different single unit sizes and in 9 duplex configuration sizes. In duplex configuration, two units are connected in parallel on twater side and controlled via master-slave configuration.
Two independent refrigerant circuits, each with a Trane designed and manufactured screw compressor. EC fans, fin and tube outdoor heat-exchanger, BPHE for hot water and falling film heat exchanger for chilled water. Trane Tracer® Symbio™ 800 controller.
