Unobtrusive high performance
Trane CFAS/CFAE one-way cassette fan coil range are designed for mounting in suspended false ceilings at the edge of the room in office rooms from 12 to 40 m2. Combining optimum HVAC performance and unobtrusive good looks with fast, easy installation, the one-way cassette units are tailor-made to ensure an unbeatable mix of comfort, low initial cost and ongoing value for money.
Fast, simple to install and commission, Trane one-way cassette fan coils offer a low cost remote or wired group control option with a single user interface to control up to 20 units connected via an RS485 serial link.
Every unit is supplied with an EC fan motor, brushless and sensorless type, controlled by an inverter board. By continuously varying the air flow, the ambient temperature can be more precisely monitored and regulated, providing 67% savings in electrical power consumption and improving acoustic comfort.
The best air distribution performance
The CFAS/CFAE one-way cassette fan coil range features a
purpose designed, self-contained return and supply air plenum. The plenum facia is sited flush with the ceiling
tiles with a return air louvered grill that takes the
air from the bottom while the air supply is parallel to the ceiling, through intake and outlet grids. The Coanda effect creates an excellent air circulation inside the room, ensuring that air is blown smoothly, at the right velocity and distance, at any fan speed.
CFAS (AC motor) and CFAE (EC motor) models are available in 3 sizes and can be equipped with 3 or 4 row coils, with the possibility to add 1 or 2 row coils for 4-pipe systems. Available with a full range of options, such as infra-red remote controls.
