A leading German retail clothing store located in a historic district needed to replace their old and inefficient chiller in time for the warm months of Summer.
After the announcement of COVID-19 restrictions, the chiller delivery needed to be fast-tracked with an overnight installation, just before a lockdown period.
Solution
Trane provided a RTAF Sintesis air-cooled chiller combining outstanding energy efficiency with extra low noise in a single system. This sustainable chiller was equipped with:
• Future-proof R1234ze refrigerant: an HFO with an under 1 GWP
• Extra Low Noise option
• Integrated double pump system with Adaptive Frequency Drive
Results
The Sintesis air-cooled chiller meets all the customer's requirements. The facility manager was relieved to work with technical service experts to execute the delivery on time.
The installation team followed strict safety procedures and acted promptly so that technicians and partners could deliver and install the chiller overnight, just before the imposed shutdown of the store the following day.
