Challenge

A data center in the south-west of France was looking for a new air-cooled installation to sustainably heat their premises. The cooling-only requested chiller should also include heat recovery, enabling them to improve their building's performance and sustainability while cooling.

Solution

Trane met the challenge with two Sintesis air-cooled RTAF 380 chillers with heat recovery. Our solution ensures the effectiveness and sustainability of the data center and improves the performance of the building.

The solution provides “free heat” to office spaces by reusing the energy which is produced as a natural by-product of the cooling cycle. The Sintesis™ Prime model RTAF featuring screw compressors, combines exceptional efficiency with smart operation ensuring low operating costs.

Results

After many years of collaboration with us, the client was yet again delighted with the products and services we were able to provide.
