With two chiller units needing replacement, the facility manager of a multinational car manufacturer needed to efficiently address the needs of the plant and avoid capital cost expenditures. The factory objectives were to reduce energy costs, maximise operational efficiencies and reduce maintenance expenses.


An innovative approach
The Italian Rental team helped the management team Rethink their approach to HVAC with the Trane EaaSy – Equipment-as-a-Service – concept. Rather than investing in two new units, Trane offered two new hire chillers, moving HVAC from a static asset to a dynamic solution. New chillers as long-term hire
The Italian team initiated the work with the removal of the two older chiller units. Two new Sintesis CGAF air-cooled screw chillers were then installed, each providing 430 kW.
