Sustainable low temperature HVAC systems

Precision-controlled refrigerated environments

The Cold Chain that stretches from processing to distribution through packaging and storage should provide
an uncompromising level of quality and safety. Trane offers high-efficiency integrated low temperature systems meeting all air distribution, temperature, humidity and filtration requirements while complying with good engineering practices and local codes.

A large portfolio of sustainable low temperature systems

Trane portfolio comprises an extended range of HFO 1234ze units from 90kW to 1200 kW to meet the needs of all food and drink applications down to -8°C with monopropylene and -12°C with monoethylene.

Trane process systems are designed to deliver maximum performance, at minimum energy consumption, in any condition -full load and part load.

Reliability is embedded in everything we do. All units leaving our factory are validated under real operating conditions at our European Research and Development Laboratory.

Why HFO is the best choice for process cooling applications

Using the HFO R1234ze refrigerant offers many advantages compared to NH3 (Ammonia):
• Lower first cost
• Non Toxic
• Easy maintenance with limited risks
• Near zero <1 GWP
• Lead times quick delivery
• Proven performance

A unique opportunity to move to renewable energy heating

Trane cooling systems offer «Free Heating» while cooling. By reusing the energy extracted from the cooling process elevated to temperatures up to 80°C, consumption of fossil fuel and the related CO2 footprint can be significantly reduced. Operation and efficiency have been optimized to deliver high temperature hot water to use in heating, sanitary hot water, district heating or in heat recovery cascade systems.
